Strawberry Pretzel Salad

This is more like a dessert, The sweet with the salty is so Good!


Ingredients
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Stir together crushed pretzels, melted butter and 3 tablespoons sugar; mix well and press mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until set. Set aside to cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl cream together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread mixture onto cooled crust.
  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in still frozen strawberries and allow to set briefly. When mixture is about the consistency of egg whites, pour and spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set.

Whiskey Slushes

One Word YUMMY!

Ingredients
  • 1 frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups whiskey
  • 1 cups water
  • 2 cups of strong brewed tea (black or green)
  • Sprite or 7-Up Soda

Directions
  • In a large plastic container(I like to use an  empty ice cream bucket) mix all ingredients except the soda. Freeze at least over night.
  • Scoop 3/4 of frozen mixture into a glass ans fill the glass with your soda.

Corn Casserole

Love to Make this Corn Dish for Easter to go with our HAM!

Ingredients
  • ½ C Melted Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Jiffy Corn Bread Mix
  • 1 Can Whole Corn (Drained)
  • 1 Can Creamed Corn
  • 1 Cup of Sour Cream

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine butter, egg, corn bread mix, whole and creamed corn and sour cream. Spoon mixture into prepared dish.
  • Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is golden brown.

Breakfast Burrito

Love to make these EASY Burritos
and everyone gets what they want.

In a large skillet cook a pound of sausage. When meat is cooked add to the skillet about 10 eggs and cook together. Serve in tortilla shell with all your favorite toppings. You can also use any kind of meat, such as diced ham or cooked crumbled bacon when scrambling your eggs.

Shredded Cheese all kinds from Cheddar to Pepper Jack
Green Onion
Tomatoes
Salsa
Avocado
Sour Cream
Jalapenos

Refreshing Pineapple Cake

I like to make this cake for Easter. So light cool an refreashing!


Ingredients
20 oz crushed pineapple drained

1 pkg  yellow cake mix
8 oz  cream cheese

12 oz cool whip
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding

2 c milk
1 c chopped walnuts


Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 inch pan.
Drain pineapple. If pineapple is not well drained, it will make the filling runny.
Mix and bake cake according to package instructions.
Let cake cool in pan.
Beat softened cream cheese, milk,and instant pudding until thick.
When cake is cool, spread pudding mixture on top of the cooled cake.
Top drained pineapple over pudding.
Spread whipped topping over all.
Sprinkle chopped walnuts over all. Refrigerate. Enjoy!

Asian Honey Chicken Wings

These Sweet Honey Asian Wings are good and easy on the grill!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Honey BBQ Sauce
  • 1/8 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
Directions:
  • Mix Ingredients and basting your chicken wings or drummette while grilling.
  •  Turn occasionally basting each time you turn.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Easy Chicken Florentine

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 lbs boneless chicken breast
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tub Philadelphia Italian Cheese & Herb Cooking Creme
  • 3/4 milk
  • 4 cups of cook bow-tie pasta
  • 1 pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • crumbled cooked bacon

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • In large skillet cook chicken in oil with garlic
  • After chicken is cooked add remaining ingredients except bacon and mix.
  • Place in 1 1/2 qt casserole (Sprayed dish with cooking spray) cover and bake 15 minutes
  • Remove from oven top with bacon and with return to over uncovered for another 10 minutes.

This goes great with garlic bread!!!!! I have also added some artichoke hearts chopped.
